It is our mission to bring about inclusive change in semi-urban and rural areas through Skill Development, Higher Education, Financial Inclusion, eGovernment, and other ICT-based services. Since 1985, the organization headquartered in Bhopal has reached out to the remotest corners of the country untiringly to empower the people, create employment opportunities for youth, and develop entrepreneurial initiatives.
AISECT is an innovative, self-sustainable, scalable, and entrepreneurial model that addresses local communities’ demand for various skills and ICT-based services in the unorganized sector. As a result of over 20,000 Centres, 12 State Offices, and 28 Regional Offices, the organization operates in 475 Districts, 1500 Blocks, and 7200 Panchayats in 29 States and 3 Union Territories. Currently, it provides skills-based training to over 20 lakh people, creates employment opportunities within the network for more than 75,000 people, and empowers more than 50 lakh people through various innovative products and services.
AISECT has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation to offer skills-based training to 13 lakh youth by 2020. In conjunction with this partnership, 12 vocational training academies have been established which provide over 150 university-certified undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and diploma courses at a low cost and of high quality. Also, AISECT is implementing a number of skill development projects for the central and state governments, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), in partnership with 12 State Skill Development Missions, and in collaboration with 13 Sector Skill Councils, it is developing relevant training modules in association with industry experts for 100+ job roles based on the QP-NOS curriculum in collaboration with industry experts.
